The West Islip Chamber of Commerce sponsored
its first ever Spring Fling event at the Higbie Lane Community
Center on Friday, April 24th. This free community event's main
attraction was a concert by the Doo-Wop band, " The New York
Expressions", which entertained the crowd for hours. Other
highlights included a custom car show, 50/50, Raffles, door prizes,
food, and just a great time!
Honored at the event was Suffolk County
Police Officer Dennis Santiago for his tenured service to the
community of West Islip.
